We’re excited to launch a new campaign for Leasing Scheme Wales. We are raising awareness of this incredibly important initiative designed to boost the availability and affordability of private rentals across Wales. The aim is to make more homes available to who are most in need within our communities, by making renting more appealing and easier for landlords (and potential landlords). The scheme offers access to a range of support including grants to get properties up to an agreed standard (including up to £25k for empty properties), lease guaranteed rental payments, repairs and property management are all covered as well as all liaison with tenants. Have you seen our latest social media campaign for Climate Action Wales for #SecondHandSeptember? With a message to ‘Take Action on Fast Fashion’ we teamed up with influencers in Wales to share their own, super handing thrifting tips and green fashion tips to inspire sustainable choices that we all can make as together, we can make a difference!
Our Senior Designer Lauren headed off to Barry to spend the day with the team at Keep Wales Tidy, shooting case study videos that shine a spotlight on an electrical recycling business and a beach litter pick. It was an inspiring day and amazing to see what local schemes bringing communities together to make a difference! Our Senior Designer Sara was directing a shoot, this one was in North Wales for IEPAW (the Interim Environmental Protection Accessor for Wales) at a RSPB nature reserve, capturing the incredible work they’re doing to protect Wales’ precious and diverse habitats. Their efforts, supported by Welsh Environment Laws, is a great example of conservation in action, safeguarding our natural spaces for future generations. We can’t wait to share it with you next month.
We’re thrilled to welcome Elinor Dafydd as our new Head of Client Services, who will be now leading our Cardiff team. With over 12+ years agency experience, previously at Freshwater and Equinox, she brings the perfect blend of strategy, creativity and leadership to ensure we deliver stand-out comms campaigns and an amazing service for our clients, while growing and developing our team of SBW’ers. Joining our SBW’s Management Team, which sits above the whole agency and offices, we already know El is going to have an incredible impact on both our clients and team!
