Babies and Brides in Cardiff

We are delighted to share the news that Ida, our Senior Account Director, gave birth to beautiful baby girl, Freja! We can’t wait to meet her! Wedding bells were also ringing for Angharad, our Account Director, who tied the knot at Cardiff Castle this month. A huge congratulations to you both!

Working towards a greener Wales

The Climate Action Wales team has been very busy, showcasing amazing community groups doing their bit for a greener future. Here is some of the work that has been going on…

We went behind-the-scenes with DATI clothing, a sustainable fashion business in Cardiff, to see the positive environmental impacts of buying second-hand. Footage from the day will go live as part of our upcoming Second hand September’ campaign –  but if you want a sneak peak, pop over to the Climate Action Wales Instagram page!

We spent the day filming with the MET Office, featuring experts explaining changing weather patterns and what this means for the climate. This was a real eye-opener as part of our work with Climate Action Wales and we look forward to sharing this interesting and incredibly relevant content with you soon.

We also partnered with Transport for Wales to co-create a digital campaign to raise awareness about the benefits of public transport, both for the environment and our wallets. A little more train travel, a little less fuel costs!

A VIP Guest from Brazil

Some of you might have seen a very special face on our socials throughout August, with Geraldo, our Senior Digital Animator, paying us a visit all the way from Brazil. It was amazing to have Geraldo in the office and be able to meet the master of animations in person, as well as taste a few tasty Brazilian treats!

Quit being a pest – raising awareness around Ips Typographus for the Forestry Commission

There’s never a dull day at the office, especially when it comes to our work with the Forestry Commission! Sara, our Senior Designer, took a trip to the forest to shoot the our latest film on the infamous Ips Typographus, a serious pest which can be found specifically on Spruce trees. These beetles are so small, 2mm in size in fact, that we needed probe lenses to shoot them. Thankfully, our latest video will help show people easier ways to spot for signs of an infestation.

Hate Hurts Wales – our latest campaign is now live

We’re proud to be back working with the Welsh Government and Victim Support. Our latest work for the Hate Hurts Wales campaign is raising awareness of the support available to victims of hate crime – no matter how big or small. Look out for our campaign across Wales – whether using public transport or scrolling through social media. The next few months will see us continuing to amplify this very important message, which we look forward to sharing more with you soon.
