Helping households through ‘Claim What’s Yours’

Launched this month, our ‘Claim What’s Yours’ campaign is here to help families across Wales access the benefits they’re entitled to. Research from 2023 shows that up to £18.7 billion in income-related benefits and social tariffs goes unclaimed across the UK each year. Through audience insight, we found that many people assume that checking eligibility and applying is a long, complicated process, like jumping through hoops (!). So, our campaign highlights how AdviceLink Cymru, a free, friendly and confidential service is here to make it easier for people to check and access the support they are entitled to – building on the message that to ‘claim what is yours’ doesn’t need to feel like overcoming obstacles.

Bringing circular economies to life

We also delivered the next stage of our work with Menter Môn, illustrating the power of a circular economy through a distinctive bilingual animation. A staggering 33 million tonnes of waste is created each year across the UK – Menter Môn programmes help towards a solution to this, through recycling, reducing, and reusing. It’s a celebration of positive change, highlighting the real impact Menter Môn’s projects are having on communities in Anglesey and Gwynedd.

Delivering excellent results with Gloucestershire NHS Midwives

The film we produced for Gloucestershire NHS’s midwifery recruitment campaign, has only been shared for a few weeks on their social channels, website and YouTube (and within teams as part of staff presentations). Yet, the feedback has been incredible so far, with a 50% increase in strong and suitable applications, attracting excellent talent to the trust and a noted increase in existing staff morale!

‘Help Us Help You’ digital goes live

Helping to get people the right care, in the right place, first time while relieving the pressures on NHS emergency services was our key aim with the ‘Help Us Help You’ digital campaign. Winter is always a challenging time for healthcare services, with a peak in common illness and colds, for which local health services such as pharmacies can provide support quicker and easier within communities instead of GPs. At the same time, the campaign reinforces the message that only real emergencies should come to A&E.
