Double win at the Purpose Awards

Being nominated for this year’s Purpose Awards was a huge honour for our team, as well as our production partners and of course clients. But walking away with not one, but two gold awards?
Our ‘Workplaces of Wales. Let’s get it sorted‘ took the winning sport for the Best Environmental Cause Campaign and ‘Hate Hurts Wales – Stand Up to Hate Crime Together‘ won Best Equality & Inclusion Cause campaign, both in the Public Sector category of the prestigious awards. We’re beyond proud and even more inspired to keep championing the good stuff!

The Big Euro Snackdown

SBW’s bring-a-dish was back with a bang this month, and with football on everyone’s minds, The Big Euro Snackdown’ theme was on point. Both teams served up some spectacular dishes representing cuisines from around Europe, from Richard’s Iron Bru Chicken (Scotland’s national dish?) to a battle between German (Ian’s) and Belgian (Sara’s) cookies. However, two dishes blew us away and were the clear winners…Lauren with a Swiss Elderflower & Strawberry cocktail in Bristol and Jasmine with an Austrian Frittata in Cardiff! Well done everyone!

Safe and fun summer term with Active Travel

We were filming at Howardian Primary School in Cardiff to highlight their “wheelie” wonderful initiative encouraging Active Travel with students – for another great case study for our Climate Action Wales campaign. Students were the stars of film, practicing their cycling and scooting skills and gearing up for a safe and fun summer term on wheels!

Location scouting at Gloucestershire Hospital

Our creative team have been hard at work, developing Gloucestershire NHS’ employer brand and highlighting what makes them an employer of choice. This month, we’ve been prepping and planning for an upcoming photoshoot, including a reccie session at the hospital, when we had a chance to meet some inspirational team members who are making a difference across the trust and community.

The future of AI…a talk worth being present for

Richard and Cerys joined the ‘Age of AI: Artificial Identity’ event with futurist and author Tracey Follows to learn about all things AI. Decoding what it means for the industry and society, Tracey’s fascinating talk covered embracing and accepting our own artificial identity, to the reasons behind the rise in people following AI generated influencers. It certainly made us think – and one thing is for sure AI will certainly become more and more relevant to our work as well as lives in the next few years.
