Gloucestershire Midwives in the spotlight

Our recruitment film for Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for their Midwifery Unit is now live.Beautifully and honestly featuring the incredible work that midwives do, it highlights their inspiring journey – finding their calling, feeling rewarded when supporting mums giving birth with the day to day stresses and rewarding moments. We wanted to reflect the empowering, impactful and fulfilling nature of the role – and we feel we did it, with our creative concept, art direction and powerful poem script (written by our Lauren), brilliantly brought to life with in an authentic and documentary-style way by our partners OnPar.

An Inspiring Day at the Comms Cymru Conference

Leticia and Elinor attended this year’s Comms Cymru Conference hosted by the Welsh Government at the Glamorgan County Cricket Club at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. This year’s theme was all around the power of storytelling and building an engaging and inclusive narrative in comms. They also took part on ‘speed mentoring’, sharing information and providing advice to attendees who were looking to develop their careers in comms in the public sector and beyond. A great opportunity to network with Welsh Government and public sector comms officers and agency peers, it was well organised event, in a brilliant setting and with a great weather!

A Golden Night at the CIPR Cymru Awards

We couldn’t be prouder to have won the Gold Award for our ‘Workplace Recycling’ campaign at this year’s CIPR Cymru Awards, taking home the top spot in the Climate Action Campaign category. NHS Photoshoots Across the Country

After months of planning, our studio team delivered a series of photoshoots for our upcoming recruitment campaigns for Gloucestershire Hospitals and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trusts. From capturing the incredible work of Gloucester’s Midwifery Team, to the community dedication of District Nurses at Oxleas, and we can’t wait to share with you the final campaigns.

Driving Ahead at EVolution Cymru 2024

Climate Action Wales was a key partner sponsor of the Evolution Cymru event in Cardiff Bay, where showcasing the power of electric vehicles (EVs) in driving a sustainable future. The two-day event was packed with inspiring speakers including Chris and Julie Ramsey, who have just completed a pole-to-pole EV expedition, and Kevin Booker, a Guinness World Record holder in the EV world. We even saw the Deputy First Minister swap his suit for leathers and take an electric motorbike for a spin around the Bay with rugby legend Josh Navidi!

Bringing the Circular Economy Closer to Home

We’ve been working with Menter Môn to raise awareness about the benefits of a circular economy and its positive impact on local communities in Anglesey and Gwynedd – and our bespoke campaign website is now live! Showcasing upcoming events, workshops, and training sessions, the website’s aim is to educate and inspire businesses, young people, and the wider community about sustainable practices. This is just the start of our work with Menter Môn, with digital and stakeholder content going live to get people to visit the website and get involved with activities in their community.

Double Runathon for Movember

Some of our SBW’ers have gone the extra mile to support men’s health, raising money for causes from suicide prevention to prostate and testicular cancer. Kaitlyn took on an incredible challenge, running an amazing 1,535,000 metres throughout November, while Jasmine took on her first 5k race!
