We’ve been back on location with Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, kicking off with two days of filming for the third instalment in their recruitment campaign, this time focusing on Medical and Dental roles.
Across Cheltenham General and Gloucester Royal, the team spent two days capturing real stories and real experiences, getting right to the heart of what these roles look like day-to-day.
And as always with shoots like this, there’s more to it than what you see on screen. From hidden underground haematology labs to unexpected corners of the site, this one took us well beyond the obvious with Tom and Lauren uncovering some of the site’s lesser-known corners along the way.
Because the best recruitment campaigns don’t just tell a story, they immerse you in it.
We also headed further west this month, with Rebecca in Swansea filming the first in a new series of AI case studies. It’s all about bringing innovation to life in a way that feels human and relatable.
And, of course, every good shoot needs a supervisor… ours just happened to be very fluffy 🐶.
There’s a buzz building across the team, as Cardiff and Bristol get stuck into our World Cup sweepstake. Predictions are already flying, and there’s more to come with our upcoming “Bring a World Cup Plate” (which we’re quietly confident will get very competitive)!
It’s been a big month for getting work out into the world.
The Nesta CBeebies Parenting campaign has now launched, and it’s already gaining traction, with sign-ups starting to come through (50 and counting 👀).
We’ve also seen the Business Wales webinars and events campaign go live, helping drive awareness and engagement with a packed programme of support.
And over on our Public Health Wales portion control campaign, Phase 2 of digital activity has now wrapped, continuing to build on what worked in Phase 1, with strong-performing assets leading the way.
This month’s also been about getting the right people in the room.
We welcomed the team from Business in Focus to start shaping fresh creative for Big Ideas Wales, bringing new energy to a programme that supports the next generation of entrepreneurs.
And in Bristol, we hosted the Forestry Commission team for a working session exploring ideas and opportunities for what’s next.
For us, the best work always starts the same way, getting the right people around the table and building momentum together.
A small change, but a big moment for the Bristol office, our new sign is officially up.
It’s a nice marker of everything that’s moved forward recently, reflecting the refreshed SBW look and the next chapter we’re building towards.
Naturally, we marked the occasion properly… 🍻
Angharad and Ida were at this month’s MarketingCymru event, hosted by Leapfrog Advertising. The event consisted of talks around importance of branding and the use of AI in the media industry. The quote “Let AI do the legwork so you can do your best work” from Ouma really stood out to us.
A great chance to connect, share ideas and hear what others are seeing across the industry. Thanks, MarketingCymru for having us!
