Powering the UK’s Net Zero future

As the UK accelerates toward Net Zero, LCCC’s role is more vital than ever, managing Contracts for Difference and expanding into hydrogen, carbon capture, and industrial decarbonisation. They needed a refreshed brand and recruitment system that matched their scale, ambition, and impact.

The challenge: building a brand with purpose and flexibility

With a growing remit, LCCC needed:

  • A revitalised brand that energised its mission and inspired current and future employees.
  • Scalable design assets to support its expanding portfolio of low-carbon projects.

Our strategy: zero in on Net Zero

We started by listening, through focus groups and interviews with the leadership team, including CEO Neil McDermott. What emerged was a clear rallying cry ‘Zero In’. A bold identity that reflects LCCC’s drive to accelerate decarbonisation and build a sustainable economy. We evolved the brand, not reinventing it. Injecting clarity and energy through:

  • A bespoke LCCC ligature logo inspired by the original wave mark.
  • Streamlined forms symbolising progress and innovation.
  • A refined palette of Energy Green, Carbon Black, and Contract White.
  • An accessibility-first typeface for inclusive communication.
  • A distinctive graphic asset visualising progress, like a loading bar or pie chart.

Smart Spend. Real Impact

We delivered:

  • Scalable creative assets for recruitment, stakeholder engagement, and digital channels.
  • A tactical rollout plan that maximised reach and relevance.

From concept to conversion

This wasn’t just a rebrand; it was a reset. The new identity unified teams, energised recruitment, and strengthened LCCC’s voice in the national Net Zero conversation. With a bold new look and a clear message to ‘Zero In’, the organisation now stands ready to power the UK’s low-carbon future.
