A local mission
with global impact

Awarded £2.5M by Welsh Government, Menter Môn set out
to embed circular economy principles across Anglesey and Gwynedd
, shifting behaviours from ‘take-make-dispose’
to reuse, repair, and remanufacture.

The challenge: making circular economy real, local, and human

Our task was to turn big ideas into everyday action, bringing circular economy principles to life in communities across Wales, while inspiring behaviour change and recruiting volunteers and staff for Ffiws Makerspaces.

Our strategy: Behaviour-led. Community-driven. Impact-focused

Using COM-B, EAST, and GCS OASIS frameworks,
we built a multi-phase campaign to:

  • Connect: raise awareness through localised messaging
  • Engage: use storytelling and case studies to build relevance
  • Empower: drive participation in events, workshops,
    and volunteering

A bilingual messaging matrix ensured content was
emotionally resonant and
action-oriented.

Creative that turns ideas into action

We delivered bilingual campaigns including:

  • Cylchol Month: aligned with national sustainability moments
  • Ffiws recruitment: attracting staff and volunteers
  • Pontio Sustainable Fashion: community-led reuse and repair workshops

Smart Spend.
Real Impact

  • Responsive bilingual website integrated with Menter Môn’s ecosystem
  • Digital, print, and video assets for events and recruitment
  • Paid media campaigns and CMS training for long-term delivery

From awareness to action

This campaign didn’t just raise awareness, it changed behaviour. By translating circular economy principles into real, local action, we helped communities understand and adopt sustainable habits. Participation in events and workshops grew, volunteer recruitment for Ffiws Makerspaces increased, and more organisations applied for grants to support circular projects. The result: stronger collaboration, deeper engagement, and lasting impact across Anglesey and Gwynedd.
