With hotter, drier summers becoming the norm, wildfires are no longer rare in the UK, they’re an increasing risk to people, wildlife, and woodlands. The Forestry Commission needed a bold, bilingual campaign to raise awareness, guide behaviour, and protect nature, especially during Amber and Red alert periods.
We were tasked with creating a versatile suite of assets that could be deployed quickly during high-risk periods, empowering the public and countryside workers to take simple, responsible steps to prevent wildfires.
We developed a rapid-response content suite for social media built around three pillars:
We developed a bold visual identity using urgent red and orange tones, directional chevrons, and a tree-shaped lockup,
a design system that guided behaviour and reinforced the message that small actions can prevent big disasters.
